Job Summary We are seeking an experienced Manufacturing Engineering Project Lead to lead and execute capital projects within a manufacturing or production environment. The role involves managing a wide range of engineering initiatives—from facility upgrades and process improvements to equipment installations and product line modifications. The Project Engineer will drive projects from concept through implementation, ensuring alignment with business goals, timelines, and cost objectives.

Key Responsibilities

Lead and manage capital projects involving facilities, utilities, production lines, and packaging systems.

Coordinate and oversee all phases of project execution including design, procurement, installation, and commissioning.

Develop detailed project plans, schedules, and budgets; ensure projects are delivered on time and within scope.

Collaborate closely with cross‑functional teams including operations, maintenance, quality, EHS, and finance.

Evaluate and recommend technical solutions to improve production efficiency, cost savings, and safety.

Interface with vendors, contractors, and internal stakeholders to align project objectives and deliverables.

Prepare and present project updates, reports, and proposals to senior leadership and key decision‑makers.

Ensure all engineering and construction activities comply with company policies, safety standards, and regulatory requirements.

Support continuous improvement initiatives by identifying opportunities to optimize existing systems and processes.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Mechanical, Electrical, Industrial, or related Engineering discipline.

Minimum of 5 years of experience in project engineering within a manufacturing, pharmaceutical, consumer goods, or related environment.

Proven track record in managing multiple capital projects simultaneously.

Strong knowledge of equipment design, facility systems, and utility infrastructure.

Proficiency in project management tools and methodologies.

Excellent communication, problem‑solving, and leadership skills.

Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast‑paced environment.

Solid understanding of safety, compliance, and quality standards in regulated industries.
