Role Overview The Assistant Director of Operations will assist with oversight of the Rooms and Food and Beverage divisions at the hotel under the direction of the Director of Operations. Duties include training and coaching direct reports, executing decisions to drive Hyatt’s purpose, achieving the goal of becoming the most preferred hospitality brand in our local market, ensuring operations meet Hyatt Centric brand standards, building colleague engagement, understanding guests’ needs, and maximizing hotel revenue.
The Assistant Director of Operations reports directly to the Director of Operations on all day‑to‑day operational matters and manages the efficient running of specific areas within the Rooms and F&B division while ensuring all Hyatt Hotels Corporation initiatives, materials, and policies are introduced, implemented, and maintained. The role involves running shifts in operational departments as needed.
Salary Salary range: $91,200–$114,000 (actual pay commensurate with experience).

Qualifications
The ideal candidate will have 4+ years of progressive hotel leadership experience within Rooms or Food & Beverage divisions.
Solid rooms operational details.
Service‑oriented style with professional presentation skills.
Proven leadership skills.
Must possess high energy, entrepreneurial spirit, motivational leadership, a proven record in high‑volume concept, effective communication, exceptional customer service, and ability to achieve financial, engagement, and service goals.
Must be available on holidays and weekends.
Experience with purchasing and inventories, comprehensive administrative skills, knowledge of inventory controls.
Clear and concise written and verbal communication skills.
Proficiency in Microsoft Word and Excel.
Excellent organizational, interpersonal, and time‑management skills.
Familiar with guest survey tracking and trends.
Experience with hotel and management systems: Opera, Reserve, HotSOS, Kronos, etc. desired.
