What to Expect (Job Responsibilities)
Design, build, and lead a high‑performing field sales organization to achieve commercial goals
Develop complete business plans for designated products and markets aligned with commercial strategy
Provide leadership to first‑line sales managers, ensuring accountability and compliance
Foster innovation in sales approaches and collaborate effectively with marketing and HR
Participate in strategic planning and make recommendations to enhance commercial strategies
What is Required (Qualifications)
BS/BA degree AND 17+ years of progressive leadership experience in specialty pharmaceutical or biotech sales management
Proven ability to achieve challenging business objectives with superior product performance
Thorough understanding of industry standards, customer segments, and market access fundamentals
Valid driver’s license and clean driving record, with frequent driving required
Excellent interpersonal and communication skills to interact professionally at all levels
How to Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications)
MBA preferred AND 15+ years of related experience OR PhD preferred AND 12+ years of related experience
Experience managing a regional specialty sales force
Industry‑leading knowledge and superior leadership skills to attract and develop talent
Ability to thrive in a fast‑paced, high‑energy entrepreneurial environment
Demonstrated ability to influence and lead others effectively
