Base salary: $91,400.00/yr - $119,925.00/yr

Responsibilities

Lead preliminary assessments, concept creation, and design leadership with support from peers, SMEs, and BIM designers.

Resolve internal and external problems.

Produce drawings and specifications.

Ensure customer and vendor accessibility.

Manage multiple concurrent projects and ensure on‑time completion.

Provide technical design leadership of systems for data center buildings (structured cabling, wireless, audio‑visual, and other low‑voltage systems).

Lead BIM designers in preparation of engineering drawings.

Create or modify DIV 27 specifications.

Conduct site visits and review technical documents.

Mentor by learning from senior team leaders.

Manage relationships with internal and external stakeholders.

Qualifications

Technical or associate’s degree from an accredited institution.

Minimum 4 years of experience actively designing or leading designs for telecommunications structured cabling systems.

Thorough knowledge of ANSI/TIA, BICSI, and NFPA 70 standards.

Familiarity working with Navisworks.

Self‑motivation to coordinate with other disciplines, project managers, and clients.

Excellent project management skills.

Experience responding to RFPs.

Experience creating a budget for a project.

Experience creating and maintaining a project schedule.

Experience identifying and mitigating company risk.

Credential as an RCDD or ability to attain it within one year after being hired.

Preferred

Experience working on other low‑voltage systems such as security, audio‑visual, wireless.

Electrical engineering degree or related discipline.
