Base pay range $55.00/hr - $60.00/hr
Duties
Operate cardiac ultrasound equipment to produce optimal echocardiographic images for diagnostic evaluation of chamber measurements, blood flow characteristics, and cardiac function.
Provide care for neonate, pediatric, adult, and geriatric patients.
Perform special procedures such as Adult Echocardiograms, Stress Echoes, Pediatric Echocardiograms, TEE-TAVR, and Watchman.
Available for weekends and holidays, rotating 8‑hour shifts from Sunday through Saturday.
Participate in adult call—one shift per week for echo call, 1830-0700 and weekends 1630-0800.
May be required to float to Providence Mission Laguna.
Skills
Proficient in Adult Acute Care, Adult Outpatient, Emergency Department, and ICU Adult Echo.
Skilled in 2‑D Echo, 3‑D Echo, Bubble Study, Color Doppler, Imaging with Contrast Agents, Pharmacologic Stress Echo, Transesophageal Echocardiogram (TEE), and Treadmill Stress Echo Calculations.
Familiar with Simpson’s Rule, Diastology, LV Strain/LV Volume, and Proximal Isovelocity Surface Area Equipment.
Experience with equipment such as GE, Hitachi, PACS, Philips, Siemens, SonoSite, and Toshiba.
Experience
Minimum of 1 year of experience required.
Preferred experience in Trauma Level I.
Travel experience required; seasoned travelers preferred.
Certifications required: BLS, ARDMS or CCI RCS.
Preferred work setting experience in Pediatric Acute Care & PICU, Pediatric Acute Care & Neonate.
Familiarity with charting systems such as Epic.
