Supplemental Health Care is seeking a travel MRI Technologist for a 13‑week contract assignment at a partnering hospital in Albany, New York. The role involves using advanced imaging technology to provide high‑quality diagnostic scans that help physicians accurately diagnose and treat patients.
Key Responsibilities
Perform MRI examinations following physician orders and imaging protocols.
Ensure patient safety, comfort, and accurate positioning during scans.
Operate and maintain MRI equipment, reporting any technical issues.
Review images for clarity, accuracy, and diagnostic quality.
Maintain patient records and adhere to HIPAA guidelines.
Follow all safety procedures related to magnetic fields and contrast administration.
Qualifications
Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in Radiologic Technology or related field.
ARRT, ARMRIT, or CAMRT registered.
Phillips MRI Systems experience.
Current state license (if applicable).
BLS certification required.
At least 2 years of recent MRI tech experience in a hospital or imaging center.
Strong technical knowledge, attention to detail, and patient‑care skills.
Contract Details
Pay: $2,560 – $2,781 per week (based on 10‑hour shifts and 40 hours per week).
Hospital setting, 13‑week contract with possibility to extend.
Includes tax‑free stipend for meals, housing, and incidentals.
