The Senior Procurement Manager Paper and Corrugated is a key position due to the impact on our business, driven by Innovation, excellence in execution on shelves, consumer connection and brand equity.
The Senior Procurement Manager Paper and Corrugated role is part of DANONE's Central Procurement Organization, which serves the Top and Bottom line of the Danone North America business from a procurement perspective. The role will be responsible for the management of the corrugated portfolio for the United States and Canada. You will lead the portfolio by collaborating with cross‑functional stakeholders and drive supplier performance, cost optimization, sustainability initiatives and innovation across the region.
Your mission
Co‑build with the global procurement team, validate & implement a 3–5 year regional sourcing strategy
Embed Danone’s sustainability goals within the category strategy
Understand & analyze the paper and corrugated market dynamics and translate market movements into opportunities for the organization
Maintain security of supply and proactively build business continuity plans to make a resilient supply chain
Lead the financial analysis for the corrugated portfolio in line with the finance calendar and process
Account manager for regional suppliers and regional contact for global suppliers
Lead RFQs, supplier selection, and competitive negotiations
Implementation & management of supply agreements/contract extensions in alignment with legal counsel
1 direct report
The salary range for this position is $109,000 – $155,000 USD. The exact salary offered will depend on several factors, including the candidate’s relevant experience, geographic location, internal equity, and market conditions. Danone North America additionally offers a performance‑based bonus and a strong benefits package including medical, dental, vision, prescription drug coverage, 401(k) plan, wellness program, life insurance, tuition reimbursement, flexible time off, and paid parental bonding leave. Danone is a hybrid work environment.
About You Education and Experience (Requirements)
Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field
8+ years of work experience in procurement or supply chain; FMCG experience a plus
Project management and cost management experience
Experience working in a multicultural global environment
Previous experience in packaging procurement is advantageous
