Position Summary As the Product Manager for the NEOMED portfolio you will lead the global strategy and execution across new product development, product lifecycle management, and market expansion focused on the Neonatal Intensive Care Unit (NICU) market. This role is pivotal in driving upstream marketing initiatives and product lifecycle management—from market entry strategy and innovation roadmaps to global go‑to‑market execution. You will lead efforts to uncover customer insights, develop category strategies, initiate new organic innovation programs, own global brand positioning/messaging, and sustain efforts for existing product lines globally. The position partners closely with R&D advancing new products through Avanos’ stage‑gate process, ensuring alignment with business objectives and regional needs.

Key Responsibilities

Lead global strategy and execution for the NEOMED brands across mature, emerging, and advancing markets. Drive upstream marketing, including customer research, market assessment, innovation roadmap development, and go‑to‑market execution.

Manage the full lifecycle of product lines, including:

Voice of Customer (VoC) research using qualitative and quantitative methods.

Strategy and launch planning (branding, pricing, messaging, training, initial forecasting, and inventory coordination).

Business case development including building market models to estimate market sizing, pro‑forma P&Ls, assessments, competitive landscaping and market attractiveness assessments.

Intellectual property considerations.

Maintain and evolve the global pricing strategy.

Lead claims and copy development for accurate, compelling global communications.

Build and manage relationships with Key Opinion Leaders (KOLs) and lead clinical advisory boards.

Collaborate with regional stakeholders and cross‑functional teams in R&D, Regulatory, Quality, Marketing Communications, and Product Supply.

Participate in strategic evaluations of inorganic growth opportunities (e.g., M&A, licensing, venture investments).

Monitor and assess competitive landscape and market trends.

Ensure seamless integration of strategies across global and regional partners, gaining alignment and buy‑in.

Basic Qualifications

Minimum 3–4 years of marketing experience, preferably in the medical industry.

Experience in product management, including:

New product development

Strategy formulation

Voice of Customer engagement
