Position Overview Northrop Grumman Defense Systems is seeking a
Staff Manufacturing Engineer
in
Roy, UT
to support the Sentinel program.
Key Responsibilities
The primary role is to guide and lead the ME team’s common processes and tool effort.
Engage with the ME team in day‑to‑day activities of design reviews, producibility analysis, demand loading, and shop floor planning.
Provide technical leadership and manufacturing expertise to the team.
Key leadership interfacing role with all IPTs, Supplier Management leads, and customers in establishing baselines, validating updates, follow‑up, and reporting.
Develop and align affordability and deployment strategies with the strategic long‑range program goals.

The standard work schedule is 9/80. Relocation assistance may be competitive.
Job Qualifications
12 Years with Bachelor’s in Science; 10 Years with Master’s; 8 Years with PhD. Four additional years of experience may substitute for a degree.
Must be a U.S. Citizen with an active U.S. DoD Secret security clearance at time of application, current and within scope, and the ability to obtain and maintain SAP approval within a reasonable period.
A minimum of 8 years of experience in an aerospace or military aviation manufacturing engineering role or similar.
Experience with ERP tools including CPLM, SAP, MES or related applications.
Preferred Qualifications
Experience interfacing with Supplier Management Team
RCI disposition experience
Influence & drive engineering compliance
ICBM experience
Supported a missile production program
Proficient in creating MASC’s (Manufacturing Assembly Sequence Charts)
Experience creating CDRL /MFG plans
Experienced leading and mentoring
Experienced creating technical documentation
Exceptional organizational skills
Driving configuration management
Salary Primary Level Salary Range: $134,300.00 – $201,500.00. Additional compensation may include overtime, shift differential, discretionary bonus, etc.
