Job Description The Lease Manager for Driven Brands is responsible for managing the company’s entire real estate lease portfolio, including primarily leases and subleases for each of our subsidiary brands throughout the United States, Canada, and other countries.
Responsibilities
Provide exceptional customer service to all Franchisees and Landlords.
Collaboratively and effectively interact with business, accounting and legal teams.
Administer and manage lease management software.
Track expiration and renewal dates for all leases.
Participate in the execution, tracking and verification of lease documentation pertaining to new store leases, lease renewals and lease terminations.
Facilitate negotiations for real estate leases and subleases.
Manage and administer lease terms.
Coordinate and ensure timely payments for rent, percentage rent, common area maintenance, association dues, insurance premiums, taxes, and other miscellaneous expenses.
Manage A/R rents for entire lease portfolio.
Quality assurance for lease abstractions.
Manage tenant improvement allowance reimbursements.
Generate, maintain and update reports.
Special Projects.
Qualifications
4 year college degree (preferably business course work or business/real estate degree).
2-5 years commercial real estate leasing experience preferred.
Strong Microsoft Office skills, most importantly with Word, Excel, and Outlook.
Acute attention to detail; strong organization and communication skills.
Ability to prioritize, perform, and meet deadlines in a busy, changing, multi-tasking work environment.
Motivated self-starter who is willing to work independently and with teams to accomplish goals.
Strong presentation skills for regular meetings with subsidiary brands and executive leadership.
