This position is responsible for the curriculum and student records of all students in the School of Public Health, ensuring they are recorded accurately and appropriately in University systems and publications. The Director maintains the quality and integrity of student academic records, oversees school practices with the student information system’s functions related to registration, advising, grades, and course information, and creates essential internal and external reports. The role supports academic mission and strategic decision making through data analysis and technology-based solutions, advises on academic policies, and collaborates with University partners in academic affairs, student affairs, and student systems.
Primary Duties & Responsibilities
Management and Supervision: Hires, trains, supervises and evaluates one direct report who works with courses, class scheduling and academic progress records, ensuring liaison with the Office of the University Registrar, other schools, and the School to support curriculum goals and accurate degree progress.
Data Governance and Management: Promotes effective data usage and compliance through planning, policy and process; assists in developing, implementing and overseeing standards for day‑to‑day student data management within the School; represents the School in University data governance leadership.
Verification of Degree Program Requirements Listings: Ensures School content in the University Bulletin accurately reflects all current programs, academic requirements, and pertinent policies for students pursuing programs at the School, coordinating with curriculum officials and academic leadership for alignment with deadlines and publication dates.
Technology: Represents the School to the University student systems/IT community, communicates School needs and priorities, and collaborates with IT to support operations and system growth.
Policy and Process: Advises School leadership on policy and process development, seeks alignment with practices of other schools, engages with University partners in Student Affairs, student financials, admissions, and the Office of the University Registrar to maintain consistency with University guidelines, and remains current with best practices and professional development.
Performs other duties as assigned.

Job Location/Working Conditions: Normal office environment.
Physical Effort: Typically sitting at a desk or table, repetitive wrist, hand or finger movement, ability to move to on‑ and off‑campus locations.
Equipment: Office equipment.
Education & Qualifications
Bachelor's degree.
Relevant experience: 5 years.
Certifications No specific certification is required for this position.
Driver's License A driver's license is not required for this position.
Salary Range
$65,900.00 - $112,700.00 / Annually
