Overview The Veterinarian is responsible for providing high quality care to our patients while also developing rapport with owners. In addition to physical examinations, surgeries, and dentistry, client communication and education are of utmost importance. Each vet is expected to treat each client and pet like part of the family. Salary range

– $130,000-$190,000/year with an average production percentage of 19‑21%. Responsibilities Responsible for the ongoing evaluation and management of clinical practices and delivery of patient care. Monitor associate doctor performance and production. Assist the hospital manager in driving financial performance, revenue generation, and expense management. Explain physical examination findings and communicate diagnoses to clients; present treatment plans and educate on preventive health care. Maintain client/patient medical/surgical records and ensure logs are kept up-to-date; assist colleagues in follow-up and future management. Stay up-to-date with new medical information, attend continuing education meetings. Assist in the development of the paraprofessional team to ensure high quality care and exceptional client service. Positively represent the hospital in the professional community and to the public. Treat every client like family and each patient like your own pet. Requirements Doctor of Veterinary Medicine (DVM) degree from an accredited university. Licensure in good standing in the state where applying. 3+ years of leadership/management experience (preferred). 3+ years of experience as a veterinarian (required). Professional comportment and appearance with excellent interpersonal skills and a positive attitude. Ability to lead the team through a variety of cases. Respect for and willingness to work with clients and their pets. Compassionate team player who can uphold a great reputation with clients. Commitment to practicing the highest standard of medicine and upholding the veterinary code of ethics. Proficiency in surgery. Benefits Base salary paid; no deductions at year-end.
