$90,000 – $120,000 Travel:

Regional travel across the southeastern U.S., with occasional additional U.S. travel to Canton, OH headquarters

What You’ll Do Develop and maintain strong relationships with melt shop, maintenance, and engineering teams at major steel mills. Identify and qualify opportunities related to EAF power systems, electromagnetic stirrer (EMS) equipment, copper bus components, and high-current cable assemblies. Conduct technical presentations, plant visits, and reliability audits to demonstrate value‑added solutions. Collaborate closely with internal engineering, service, and manufacturing teams to deliver tailored recommendations. Support customer projects from concept through installation, ensuring seamless execution and satisfaction. Manage sales pipeline activity and contribute to annual territory growth through consultative, solution‑based selling.

Requirements Bachelor’s degree in mechanical, Electrical, or Metallurgical Engineering, or equivalent industry experience. 5+ years of hands‑on experience in steel mill operations, maintenance, or project engineering (EAF, ladle metallurgy, or casting preferred). Strong understanding of industrial power systems, copper bus installations, and reliability‑centered maintenance. Excellent communication and problem‑solving skills for technical discussions with engineers and operations leaders. A results‑oriented, customer‑focused mindset with the ability to translate plant challenges into actionable solutions. Prior experience in technical sales or vendor management within the steel industry is a plus.
