Position Summary The HR Coordinator, reporting to the Human Resources Director, plays a key role in supporting the day‑to‑day operations of the Human Resources function. The position is responsible for a range of administrative and coordination tasks that contribute to efficient HR processes, effective recruitment, and a positive employee experience.

Location Onsite – Arbuckle & Woodland, CA

Key Responsibilities HR Administration

Maintain accurate and up‑to‑date confidential employee records in HR systems and personnel files.

Process HR‑related documentation and transactions including new hire forms, status changes, and termination paperwork.

Support compliance tracking and audits through organized recordkeeping and reporting.

Recruitment Coordination

Assist in the recruitment process by posting jobs and scheduling interviews.

Coordinate communications with candidates and hiring teams to ensure a smooth interview experience.

Facilitate onboarding for new hires, including orientation scheduling, forms completion, and system access.

Employee Support & Communication

Act as a point of contact for employee questions regarding HR policies, procedures, and programs.

Support the dissemination of HR updates, benefits information, and company announcements.

Benefits & Payroll Support

Assist with benefit enrollments, changes, and documentation in coordination with HR and payroll teams.

Support payroll processing by verifying employment data as needed.

Assist with leaves of absences documentation, recordkeeping, and balance tracking.

Engagement & Training Coordination

Help organize internal training sessions, HR events, and employee engagement activities.

Assist in developing materials and tracking attendance to ensure program effectiveness.

Qualifications Required Qualifications

Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field preferred.

3‑5 years of experience in an HR or administrative support role.

Skills & Competencies

Strong organizational and communication skills.

High level of attention to detail and confidentiality.

Proficiency with MS Office Suite and HR information systems (HRIS) a plus.

Certifications / Licenses

SHRM preferred.

Preferred Qualifications

Experience supporting Human Resources, Recruiting, or Recruiting Operations teams.

Bilingual English/Spanish preferred.

Working Conditions

Environment: Primarily office with regular time in the manufacturing plant environment, involving moderate noise, moving machinery, and standard industrial safety conditions.

Location: On‑site at Arbuckle, Woodland, and headquarters in Sacramento; occasional remote work may be available.

Safety: Compliance with all company safety policies and use of personal protective equipment required in plant environments.
