Senior Pricing Analyst
Under the supervision of a Pricing Manager, the Senior Pricing Analyst will support the development of pricing strategies, recommendations, and guardrails for all product categories in their merchandising division. The role utilizes technical tools and methodologies such as elasticity and demand curve modeling, test & control methods, rules-based pricing, cluster analysis, and financial impact analysis to determine optimal price points and evaluate pricing decisions. The analyst will help achieve financial and business targets for their area while serving as a key partner within the Merchandising organization.
What You Will Do
Build and maintain strong relationships with Merchandising leaders and merchants through assortment reviews, store walks, and daily communication.
Conduct financial analysis to support specific businesses and categories, synthesize multiple data sources, and work cross‑functionally to implement pricing strategies across all channels.
Develop repeatable workflows and templates to support efficient analytical processes and various ad hoc analytical needs.
Provide support to Lowe’s stores and resolve issues quickly and efficiently.
Monitor and respond to competitive movements to ensure consistency with broader pricing strategies and guardrails.
Collaborate with other Pricing and Assortment Planning teams to create synergies between teams.
Support the development and utilization of new tools and capabilities to deliver recommendations across the full product life cycle to business partners.
Prepare clear and concise communications, often to senior leadership, conveying complex ideas in a simple, structured manner to influence decisions.
Assist the Pricing Manager in ensuring that pricing strategies are developed, implemented, measured, and monitored effectively and communicate relevant progress to senior leadership.
Receive timely, effective, and actionable feedback and coaching from the Pricing Manager to support growth and development.
Minimum Qualifications
Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration, Finance, Statistics, or related field.
At least 3 years of experience in Pricing, Data Analytics, Finance, Omni‑channel Retailing, or a related pricing and promotion field. Experience working in cross‑functional teams and analyzing financial metrics.
At least 3 years of experience in Price Management, Merchandising, Financial Planning and Analysis, Store Operations, or Logistics. Experience as a Lead Merchant and/or Pricing Lead in an omni‑channel retail environment, with leadership and direct‑report responsibilities.
Preferred Skills/Education
Experience working closely with senior leadership (VP and above).
Experience in Home Improvement Retail.
Experience working in an omnichannel environment.
