Trade Support Analyst (hybrid Developer) – Quant Hedge Fund – up to $200k TC
We are a major quant strategy hedge fund looking to expand our New York City based trade support team with a unique hire.
Role Overview The role focuses on technical development, running a heavily analytical, hands‑on approach to typical trade support responsibilities (as opposed to manual processing). You will drive a large volume of automation and process improvement projects, and regularly support ad‑hoc initiatives for the tech, quant and investment teams. You will develop proficiency in Python, SQL, VBA, and R.
Responsibilities
Develop and maintain automation tools to improve trade support workflows.
Analyze and document trade support processes for efficiency gains.
Work on ad‑hoc projects for tech, quant and investment teams.
Collaborate with operations, middle office, and front office stakeholders.
Qualifications
1–4 years of relevant line operations or trade support experience.
Strong STEM focused academic background.
Proficient Python coding skills.
Experience with SQL, VBA, or R is a plus.
Compensation Year‑one total compensation up to $200,000 for a high performer, complemented by an industry‑leading benefits package.
