Graph Developer
Location: NYC, NY – 3‑4 days on site
Duration: Long Term Consulting Opportunity
Visa: USC/GC
Responsibilities
Architect, design, and implement graph‑based data models and solutions.
Develop and optimize efficient graph queries using languages like Cypher, Gremlin, or SPARQL.
Build and maintain data pipelines to load, transform, and integrate data from various sources into the graph database.
Ensure the graph database and related applications are scalable, performant, and secure.
Work with stakeholders and cross‑functional teams (like data scientists, analysts, and other engineers) to define use cases and translate requirements into technical solutions.
Build applications or APIs that leverage the graph database for relationship analysis, recommendation engines, fraud detection, or other use cases.
Provide guidance and mentor junior developers on graph best practices.
Create and maintain documentation for graph schemas, queries, and architectures.
Required Skills and Experience
Hands‑on experience with graph databases (e.g., Neo4j, Amazon Neptune).
Proficiency in graph query languages (e.g., Cypher, Gremlin, SPARQL).
Strong programming skills in Java and Python.
Heavy financial experience.
Familiarity with data modeling principles for connected data.
Experience with ETL processes and data ingestion.
Knowledge of cloud platforms like AWS is often a plus.
Understanding of data structures and algorithms, particularly related to graph theory.
Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
