Position Overview KODA Technologies is looking for a Principal Systems Analyst to join our team! In this role you will get to support the Missile Defense Agency’s (MDA) Terminal High Altitude Area Defense (THAAD) Program Office (MDA / THN). This role will support program milestones including SRR PDR and CDR. The selected candidate will review Objective Evidence for all milestone Entrance and Exit criteria support inputs to the THAAD Program Objective Memorandum (POM) and support program baselining events to establish weapon systems capability development and delivery to US and Foreign Military Sales (FMS) warfighter customers. Additionally the candidate will support weapon system performance analysis Modeling & Simulation and test plan development and analysis and develop/deliver Courses of Action (COA) briefings for THAAD leadership.

Key Responsibilities

Support engineering tasks related to design production fielding & sustainment of advanced THAAD batteries

Coordinate Systems Engineer activities with the THAAD Product Office Systems Engineering division other MDA Systems Engineering activities and / or Product Offices Prime Contractor systems engineering staff and Other Government Agencies (OGAs) as required

Generate and / or review detailed THAAD weapon system technical information necessary to support systems engineering activities

Support Technical Evaluations of proposal information submitted by the Prime contractors in response to issued Request for Proposals (RFPs)

Obtain & review information from the prime contractor as requested by the Government customer

Participate in selected prime contractor meetings and boards

Coordinate with functional support (Quality Safety Mission Assurance (QSMA) and Logistics) to support the CE requirements

Facilitate Government IPTs and functional areas (QSMA Logistics Program Operations) as requested

Support technical Working Group meetings and THAAD Facility Design & Construction activities

Participate & provide input to teleconferences as directed by the Government customer (e.g. weekly staff meetings and other regularly scheduled meetings with the prime contractor and its subs)

Qualifications

MS / MA with 12 years experience or BS / BA with 20 years experience in lieu of a Masters degree

Prior work experience in a Service or DoD Agency-level Program Office

Technical knowledge of the THAAD Weapon System

Understanding and application of sound engineering principles related to component design interoperability technology protection and risk mitigation

Ability to develop and present reports and presentations to senior management-level personnel

Must be able to work within a collaborative environment composed of Military Government Civilian Prime Contractor Sub-Contractor and Supporting Contractor personnel

Familiarity and / or Experience with missile defense component development test production and sustainment

Clearance: Active Secret Clearance is required

Travel: 20%
