Located in the heart of downtown Nashville, Chief's features a ticketed music venue, inspirational interiors, and a distinct focus on original live performances-offering fans an unmatched entertainment experience in Music City. The venue includes a broadcast studio, home to Church's Outsiders Radio on SiriusXM, with capabilities to host programming from a range of media partners. Culinary offerings are in collaboration with James Beard Award–winning pitmaster Rodney Scott, available throughout the space. On the fifth floor, Redemption Bar, a new concept developed with award-winning artist Ashley McBryde, is dedicated to spotlighting original music and emerging talent. Chief's is located at the corner of 2nd Avenue and Broadway.

ABOUT THE ROLE Provide marketing support to operations to promote our brand in all areas related to music, culture, events, retail and restaurant service. Assist in the execution of all of developing marketing initiatives and explore new ones that increase revenue across all mediums. Create new avenues to capture customer data and grow our existing database over all active email groups. Assist in the managing content and messaging in various outlets of communication to our customers and press. Frequently examine customer retention and work across departments to formulate ways to enhance loyalty programs. Assist in completing the circle of internal communication throughout the organization to make sure the team is prepared to react to all marketing initiatives.

WHAT YOU WILL DO Tasks include, but are not limited to:

General

Manage all full scale marketing campaigns from conception to implementation

Generate all weekly event press releases and listings to be sent; copy all relevant parties (GM, Programming, Production)

Work on all social media outlets, including Facebook, Instagram

Build strong relationships with media through communication and hospitality.

Identify and exploit opportunities for strategic trade-in-kind agreements wherever and whenever possible.

Collaborate and meet regularly with the Programmer, Event Director, and GM (individually or as a group when necessary) to coordinate all projects and ensure consistent messaging.

Manage venue upcoming show reel and assist in making sure content is up to date and correctly formatted for Chief's proper branding (in tandem with design team)

Build and maintain up-to-date media databases with targeted outlet lists in music, events, food and beverage, wine, etc.; keep a current copy on a shareable drive for company access.

Customer Relations

Coordinate weekly programming email for main database.

Manage all review sites and provide prompt responses.

Work with Private Events Teams to help promote and activate tentpoles

Develop, grow and administer email databases, including audienceprospect information, mailing list applications, etc.

Focus on all live ticketed events, particularly those with high guarantees or those that are underselling and ensure all avenues for success are explored. Work with Programming to strategize opportunities for improvement and connect weekly with relevant parties.

Have an understanding and knowledge of all artists booked to play Chief's and how that correlates to promoting and cross-promoting show effectively.

Conceive, design and create effective and cost-efficient marketing collateral across all departments in coordination with Design team, including Postcards, Posters, Slide Show, Other Printed Material

Work with GM on any discount promotions for food, beverage, and/or retail

Digital Relations

Oversee digital marketing efforts including uploading all information to website to keep it active and current.

Update home page and show information with focus on time sensitive shows and events and/or those with large financial investment.

Create all events in web system.

Manage brand social pages, including Instagram, Facebook etc.; make additional connections for show promotions and make sure artists are promoting shows on their sites as well.

Drive traffic to our website through external links, including all artists websites.

You are curious about new developments in the hospitality industry and are always striving to learn more. The ideal candidate needs "big picture" acumen combined with an understanding of building teams and driving guest experience. Oversight of all operations within Chief's. This role will need strong leadership to maximize the potential of revenue generation, profitability, and driving sales.

This role also requires the following capabilities:

YOUR QUALIFICATIONS Required

Minimum of 5 years technical experience as Marketing Manager or equivalent

Experience working in a multi-faceted venue inclusive of F&B and Live Music

Lead on Marketing, PR, and Social activation

Excellent written and verbal communication skills as well as organizational skills.

Must have experience working cross departmental ex: Events, Programming, etc.

Must be able to work a flexible schedule to include weekends and holidays.
