The Medical Education Manager (MEM) is responsible for providing clinical insight and strategic partnership for the development, delivery, and implementation of Medical Education for our AWM (Advanced Wound Management) business in Germany, Switzerland and Austria (GSA). The MEM will focus on driving different Medical Education activities, online and offline, related to AWM across GSA. This role will be responsible for aligning with our local AWM marketing as well as our international AWM Medical Education team to develop and implement customer‑focused education programs that meet changing market needs and continue to differentiate Smith + Ne.

What will you be doing?

Manage and deliver education programs for AWM Medical Education in GSA and support regional colleagues in program delivery

Drive implementation of new technologies for blended learning offerings, such as e.g. gaming and hybrid learning models

Develop and maintain networks for the region to ensure vision, plans, objectives, interfaces and initiatives are well communicated, and learnings are shared with Medical Education partners as well as your Marketing and Sales partners

Establish and maintain identification, recruitment, and development of health care providers who are either established or potential thought leaders, educators, and/or innovators for relevant areas of clinical practice to support safe and effective use of AWM products

Complete annual needs assessment in partnership with Professional Affairs to identify Smith + Ne’s needs to engage HCP Consultants to ensure compliant interactions

Ensure the logistics related to programs including registrations, course information and post course evaluation data analysis and reporting are managed, reported to partners, and input into relevant regulatory systems

Assure process integrity and compliance with local regulations and policies as well as effective use of our Learning Management System

What will you need to be successful?

Min. 5 years experience in a similar role in Medical Education / Clinical Education / Professional Education or equivalent

Very strong skills in project management (organization, planning) and delivery

Excellent presentation and communication skills as well as strong customer service orientation

Basic understanding for local compliance regulations and policies

Savviness in using IT tools (e.g. MS PowerPoint, MS Excel, CRM System, Event Management System)

Very good language skills in both English & German (written/spoken)

Willingness to travel (up to 50%, mostly national travelling)

Beneficial

Demonstrated ability to network effectively with relevant HCP
