Job Description The position is located in New York City and supports the P&C Insurance franchise. The associate works in conjunction with the lead analyst on developing and marketing equity research products, including reports, models, and industry analysis.
Responsibilities
Build and maintain integrated financial models (I/S, B/S, C/F) and update them on a continuous basis.
Write, produce and edit company initiations, equity research reports, and marketing presentations.
Conduct industry analysis and prepare market intelligence for internal sales and trading teams and external clients.
Organize and maintain industry data sets and research deliverables.
Take initiative on projects with minimal supervision, demonstrating independence, entrepreneurship and a strong work ethic.
Qualifications
Equity research experience with exposure to finance, accounting and proficiency in financial modeling.
Working knowledge of the insurance industry.
Strong analytical, writing and interpersonal skills; ability to work under pressure.
Proficiency in Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Bloomberg and FactSet.
BA in Finance and/or CFA preferred; FINRA registration (SIE, Series 7, 63, 86, 87) an advantage but not mandatory.
Strong sales and communication capabilities; responsiveness and professionalism.
Self‑starter who can organize, prioritize and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
Compensation For job postings in New York City, the base salary range for this role is $100,000.00 – $150,000.00, with eligibility for additional discretionary bonus.
