Lenovo
Sr. Specialist, Global Social Media Production & Experiential Marketing
Lenovo, Raleigh, North Carolina, United States
Role Overview
We’re looking for a creative, organized, and forward-thinking Social Media Production and Experiential Marketing Sr. Specialist to join Lenovo’s global social media team. Key Responsibilities
Act as production lead over two creative contractors, producing and editing videos, photos, and animations that meet Lenovo’s brand standards and campaign goals. Manage end‑to‑end production process once briefs are approved—translating briefs into actionable deliverables, production schedules, and timelines. Provide thoughtful feedback on early creative edits and ensure all assets are optimized for global social platforms. Serve as a Change Champion for integrating AI into social media production—identifying, testing, and scaling new tools and workflows that improve efficiency and creative output. Collaborate with peers managing content alignment and platform strategy to ensure production feasibility and timeline alignment. Occasionally handle one‑person production tasks—filming simple one‑camera shoots or completing basic video edits for quick‑turn or small‑scale content. Track content performance post‑production to provide actionable insights for continuous improvement. Ensure all deliverables are produced on time, within scope, and to a consistent creative standard. Tools & Skills
Project management: Experience using Monday.com or similar tools to manage content production pipelines. Editing: Proficiency in Adobe Premiere Pro, with the ability to independently edit short‑form content when needed. AI: Experience using AI‑powered creative tools (Adobe Illustrator, Google Veo, Descript, etc.) to accelerate content creation and editing. Experiential Marketing (50%)
Coordinate social media planning and production for major global events, including CES, MWC, Lenovo Innovation World, and Lenovo Tech World. Support event social media strategy and execution under the direction and lead of the manager. Lead day‑to‑day social media content coordination before, during, and after events—event teasers, product content coordination, and partnership collaborations (Intel, AMD, Microsoft). Build the onsite production calendar for agencies and work with the manager to lead the onsite team—providing real‑time creative feedback. Ensure content meets all partner requirements (badges on images, specific wording in videos, bumpers on videos). Work with onsite production agency to produce event recap videos and post‑event content summaries. Maintain the social media event toolkit (templates, best practices, asset libraries). Support livestream setup and execution on social platforms in coordination with production agencies. Basic Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Public Relations, or similar fields. 3‑5 years of experience in social media content production or social media marketing (agency or brand side). Preferred Qualifications
Passionate about leveraging AI tools to evolve creative workflows. Strong understanding of digital storytelling and social media platform‑specific content strategies. Skilled project manager with the ability to juggle multiple deliverables across teams and time zones. Hands‑on understanding of photo/video production and post‑production workflows. Experience working with creative agencies, vendors, or contractors. Comfort navigating ambiguity and fast‑paced event environments. We are an Equal Opportunity Employer and do not discriminate against any employee or applicant for employment because of race, color, sex, age, religion, sexual orientation, gender identity, national origin, status as a veteran, and basis of disability or any federal, state, or local protected class.
