Insurance Coverage/Insurance Litigation Associate
position in our Milwaukee Office.
This position offers a flexible, hybrid working arrangement.
Key Responsibilities
Work closely with other attorneys and partners on insurance coverage matters.
Draft coverage opinions and coverage position letters.
Draft pleadings, motions, and handle discovery in coverage litigation.
Communicate with clients and draft reports to clients under the supervision of senior attorneys, proactively managing a litigation caseload from beginning to end.
Conduct legal research and analysis related to transportation laws, regulations, and legal standards.
Draft pleadings, motions, briefs, legal memoranda, and other legal documents.
Attend court hearings, depositions, and mediations.
Collaborate effectively with colleagues across departments and offices, contributing to a cohesive and supportive team environment.
Draft case analysis reports to client stakeholders with an eye toward developing proactive resolution strategies.
Qualifications
JD from an accredited law school.
Admitted to practice in the State of Wisconsin.
1+ years coverage litigation experience.
Experience in areas of insurance coverage such as coverage opinions (CGL, Excess, Professional Liability, D & O and property).
Experience in both third‑party and first‑party claims.
Coverage analysis and writing experience.
Superior analytical skills.
Excellent written and oral communication skills.
