Speech Language Pathologist – High School (70–80/hr)
Boston Speech Therapy is excited to announce an opening for a Speech Language Pathologist at a high school. This role offers a unique opportunity to work with adolescents, focusing on their communication needs and providing supportive care to enhance their academic success and social interactions.
Responsibilities
Conduct assessments to identify speech and language impairments in high school students
Develop and implement individualized treatment plans and IEPs tailored to each student's specific needs
Provide direct therapy services to help students improve their communication skills
Collaborate with educators and parents to address students' educational goals and challenges
Document student progress and adjust therapy programs as needed
Stay current with trends and best practices in speech-language therapy for adolescents
Requirements
Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology
Current state licensure or certification as a Speech Language Pathologist
Experience working with high school students preferred
Strong assessment, diagnostic, and therapeutic skills
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Ability to work collaboratively as part of a multidisciplinary team
Understanding of IEP development and special education processes
Benefits
