Mammography Technologist, Breast Imaging, PRN, First Shift
UC Health is hiring a PRN Mammography Technologist for the breast imaging department for first shift at University of Cincinnati Medical Center. The role includes performing stereotactic breast biopsies, scheduling exams with patients, post‑procedure follow‑up, obtaining results, faxing to referring physicians, and tracking results in appropriate systems.

Qualifications
Associate of Science Degree in Radiology Technology
Registered with the American Registry of Radiologic Technology
Preferably one year experience in mammography (training available)
Must agree to obtain advanced board certification in mammography
Responsibilities
Engage in population‑appropriate communication with patients and families.
Give clear instructions regarding treatment and involve family/guardian in assessment and care.
Identify physical limitations and deliver interventions when necessary.
Recognize and respond appropriately to behavioral health issues and signs of abuse or neglect.
Perform mammographic and DEXA procedures following established protocols, review patient histories, and explain procedures.
Prepare images, paperwork, and prior studies; submit completed studies to radiologists.
Fax release forms and ensure timely receipt of previous films; digitize images for radiologist review.
Maintain records, supplies, and meet accreditation requirements.
Participate in continuing education, maintain licensure, and demonstrate skill in care for specific age groups.
Perform equipment tests and participate in the Quality Assurance program.
Qualify patients for funding programs, maintain records, and track grant funds.
Track patient results, notify appropriate parties, and follow up on abnormal mammograms.
