Part‑time Instructional Designer
Ensign College seeks a part‑time instructional designer who values learner‑centered educational experiences and real, lasting change. The role supports the college mission to develop capable and trusted disciples of Jesus Christ.
Requirements for Employment Eligibility
Member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter‑day Saints with a current temple recommend.
Comply with Church Educational System Honor Code, Dress and Grooming Principles, and other college policies.
Clearance from the Ecclesiastical Clearance Office and ongoing compliance with church and college standards.
Responsibilities
Collaborate with program chairs, subject matter experts, and development teams to design and develop high‑quality courses within established production standards and timelines.
Apply outcome‑driven instructional design processes to create engaging, effective learning experiences.
Coordinate project activities, manage timelines, and communicate progress to stakeholders.
Qualifications
Master’s degree in a related field or 3–5 years of instructional design or training design experience.
Strong communication, coordination, and project management skills.
Experience working in teams and independently, with confidence to innovate and suggest improvements.
Proficiency with MS Office, Google Drive, and other productivity tools.
Experience with Learning Management Systems a plus.
Workload & Remote Options Up to 28 hours per week, remote work options available for applicants who live and work within the state of Utah.
