This is a union position, covered under Teamsters Local 294 Union Job Description:
This position involves performing tasks to maintain environmental and sanitary controls of the facility. Key responsibilities include: Operating CIP/Cleanup and setting up all packaging equipment, and performing CIP on all circuits and equipment. Maintaining the Monthly Preventative Maintenance list per documented times for each task. Being confined‑space, forklift, and lock‑out tag‑out certified. Using ladders and high lifts to access high cleaning and painting areas. Repairing and rebuilding valves, performing gasket changes, inspecting heat exchangers/presses, scraping/painting, and minor repairs. Assisting with GMP, Biosecurity, and SQF internal audits. Assisting with janitorial duties listed on the Daily Janitorial Schedule as needed. Working in conjunction with lab, maintenance, plant, and manufacturing staff to ensure efficient operation. Maintaining all documented information as per SQF requirements. Keeping all work areas neat and clean at all times, conforming to GMP and SQF requirements. Understanding and following all safety procedures, wearing proper PPE, and never putting yourself or other employees in harm’s way. Staying until the job is completed or relieved, performing any assignments by a Manager, Supervisor, or Foreman. Exact compensation may vary based on skills, experience and location. Pay Range:
