Accountant/Executive Assistant Are you ready to make an impact in a fast-growing biotechnology startup transforming the future of cancer treatment? We’re looking for a detail-oriented Accountant/Executive Assistant to join our Seattle-based team.

This is a dual-role opportunity supporting both accounting/finance operations and executive administration. You’ll work closely with the COO/CFO to manage day-to‑day accounting activities, streamline processes, and provide high‑level administrative support — playing a key role in keeping our company running smoothly.

What You’ll Do Accounting & Finance

Prepare accurate financial statements and ensure reconciliations are complete and consistent.

Manage bookkeeping, budgeting, and variance analysis.

Handle accounts payable, payroll processing, and vendor management.

Prepare customer invoices, process grant payments, and file tax returns.

Maintain general ledger accuracy and assist with month‑and‑year‑end closings.

Collaborate with management and external partners to provide financial insights.

Executive & Administrative Support

Manage multiple calendars, schedule meetings, and coordinate travel.

Support daily administrative tasks for the COO/CFO.

Track and organize projects, action items, and follow‑ups across teams.

Maintain communication with internal teams, vendors, and the Board of Directors.

Partner with the operations team on HR, benefits, and IT‑related tasks.

Qualifications

Associate’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field (Bachelor’s preferred).

3+ years of bookkeeping/accounting experience, with strong AP and payroll exposure.

1+ year of administrative or operations support experience.

Proficiency in QuickBooks Online, Excel, and Google Workspace (Bill.com experience a plus).

Understanding of accrual‑based accounting and compliance with GAAP.

Exceptional attention to detail, problem‑solving skills, and emotional intelligence.

Comfortable working independently in a dynamic startup environment.

Salary and Compensation Base pay range: $75,000.00/yr – $120,000.00/yr

Additional compensation: Stock options
