Job Summary and Responsibilities Diagnose and treat various medical conditions. Develop and implement comprehensive treatment plans. Conduct thorough medical examinations and histories.
Communicate effectively with patients, families, and healthcare teams.
Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records. Document findings, diagnoses, and treatment plans. Ensure compliance with coding and billing regulations.
Order and interpret diagnostic tests, perform procedures, and collaborate with specialists.
Participate in interdisciplinary team meetings and provide consultative services.
Participate in quality assurance and improvement initiatives. Review clinical outcomes and implement changes for patient safety.
Adhere to ethical and legal standards. Stay informed about regulations, participate in audits, and keep up with medical advancements.
Continue medical education and training. Contribute to clinical protocols and guidelines.
Job Requirements
American Board Certified or Board Eligible in specified area of medical specialty.
A valid and unrestricted state medical license or license-eligible.
Where You'll Work CHI Health and Creighton University School of Medicine
in Omaha, Nebraska are seeking a BC/BE and Fellowship trained Urologic Oncologist to join our academic urologic practice with a focus on genitourinary oncologic disease. The candidate has the opportunity to participate in the development of the Creighton University Urology Residency Program, which includes a faculty appointment.
