Basic Qualifications
Minimum of 6 years C-130 experience Proficient in documentation of AFTO 781 forms, Integrated Maintenance Information System (IMIS) and Integrated Maintenance Data System (IMDS) Ability to obtain and maintain a secret security clearance (may start with an interim secret clearance) Responsibilities
Inspect, troubleshoot, rig, repair and modify aircraft structures, structural components and aircraft systems of moderate difficulty Maintain and repair aircraft components including landing gear, flight surfaces and controls, anti-icing, engines, hydraulics, pneumatics, fuel systems, ventilation, heating and cooling systems and mechanical components Apply technical knowledge of airframe and power plant systems to determine equipment malfunctions Restore equipment condition and operation; apply comprehensive technical expertise to solve moderate to complex problems Read and interpret manufacturers and airline maintenance manuals, service bulletins, technical data, engineering data and other specifications to determine feasibility and method of repairing or replacing malfunctioning or damaged components Adjust, repair or replace electrical system wiring and aircraft accessories; perform preflight, thru-flight and basic post-flight maintenance inspections; perform Refuel/Defuel; Jack and Tow Team member/supervisor Perform miscellaneous aircraft servicing including Lox, hydraulic and engine oil, service aircraft tire and perform aircraft lubes Work at heights utilizing fall protection and work in confined spaces; work independently and as part of a team Desired Skills
Prior AFSOC MC-130J and AC-130J experience Prior fuels systems maintenance experience Prior Isochronal / letter check or depot experience Location
