Sr Support Engineer 2
Location:
This will be a hybrid role reporting to the Dallas, TX office
Overview The Sr Support Engineer 2 plays a critical role in ensuring the successful deployment, operation, and optimization of Blue Yonder's supply chain software solutions. This role involves working closely with customers, support teams, and development teams to troubleshoot and resolve complex technical issues, enhance product functionality, and contribute to the overall success of our solutions.
What you'll do
Provide advanced technical support and guidance to customers, resolving complex issues related to Blue Yonder products
Collaborate with software development teams to identify, troubleshoot, and resolve product-related issues
Enhance and maintain tools for monitoring, deployment, and operations to streamline the support process
Assist in coordinating product release activities, ensuring adherence to quality standards and processes
Contribute to the development and maintenance of technical documentation, including knowledge base articles and user guides
Serve as an internal advocate for customers, representing their needs and feedback to the product management and development teams
Technical Environment
Proficiency in scripting languages (e.g., Python, Bash) and automation tools (e.g., Ansible, Jenkins)
Experience with cloud platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure, Google Cloud) and containerization technologies (e.g., Docker, Kubernetes)
Familiarity with version control systems (e.g., Git) and CI/CD pipelines
Knowledge of database management systems (e.g., SQL, NoSQL) and monitoring tools (e.g., Prometheus, Grafana)
What we are looking for
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Technology, or a related field
5+ years of experience in technical support, software engineering, or related roles, with a proven track record of solving complex technical problems
Strong understanding of software development lifecycle (SDLC) and agile methodologies
Excellent communication and collaboration skills, capable of working effectively with cross-functional teams
Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail
Commitment to continuous learning and improvement, staying current with emerging technologies and industry trends
Desired Skills
Experience with Blue Yonder Platform /ESQ/SEQ products is highly desirable
Certification in cloud platforms or relevant technologies
Prior experience in the supply chain or logistics industry
Working Conditions
This role may require occasional travel to customer sites and other Blue Yonder offices
Participation in an on-call rotation to provide 24/7 support coverage

The annual salary range for this position is USD $81,336.24 - $104,888.45
The salary range information provided, reflects the anticipated base salary range for this position based on current national data. Minimums and maximums may vary based on location. Individual salary will be commensurate with skills, experience, certifications or licenses and other relevant factors. In addition, this role will be eligible to participate in either the annual performance bonus or commission program, determined by the nature of the position.
