CAD/CAM Integration Engineer

Job Description The CAD/CAM Integration Engineer is responsible for the integration of products into digital workflows for the related customer experience in front-end software. Key responsibilities include the creation and maintenance of catalogs and libraries of our products in supported software, ensuring the safety, performance and quality of deliverables, and efficient execution of NPI projects. The engineer also identifies innovative solutions and completes feasibility assessments for potential future solutions.

Key Accountabilities

Lead product integration activities and related Design Control processes in collaboration with the project team and its interface with the overall project timeline.

Support the commercial roll out process of software releases and their related product catalogs.

Manage risk management and design history files for the software products.

Lifecycle Management

Manage alpha/beta tests from a perspective of technical suitability and root cause analysis of findings.

Contribute to root cause analysis of 2nd level support cases and field complaints.

Facilitate knowledge dissemination of our products and solutions.

Support quality team with audits and management of CAPA activities.

Manage change process for released software products and the related libraries and product catalogs.

Act as coordinator for providing technical support for software and related NobelProcera and Inlab solutions to the different teams (e.g., CAM, Operations, support, SW development).

Support NPI project teams in the various Design Control processes, and support commercial roll out process of software releases and their related product catalogs.

Manage the (pre)validation process of software projects including software and related catalogs validation as well as software integration and system validation.

Facilitate the knowledge dissemination of our products and solutions and follow up on released products.

Collaborate cross-functionally to deliver results. Successfully interface with research.

Job Requirements Minimum Qualifications

Bachelor's degree.

3+ years experience in the dental industry or prior software integration experience; prior experience with DTX, 3Shape, or exocad dental design software(s) is a plus.

Proficiency in English, oral and written communication.

Preferred Qualifications

In-depth understanding of the field of Digital Dentistry solutions.

Quality-minded, meticulous attention to detail.

Pragmatic problem solver with ability to follow through for completeness.

Ability to work collaboratively and strategically with different functional departments.

Comprehensive understanding of end-user profiles and behaviors in using software and integrated products and devices.

In-depth interest and understanding of the clinical environment and related technical possibilities and challenges.

In-depth interest and understanding of software integration and the challenges of creating a functioning end-to-end workflow.

Strong communication skills (written and verbal).

Solid knowledge of relevant Nobel Biocare products, their history as well as manufacturing methods.

Target Market Salary Range $98,500 - $136,000
