Base pay range $104,000.00/yr – $156,000.00/yr

Position Summary Leads Process Improvement tools and methods for example 5S root cause analysis, Six Sigma, time and motion studies to eliminate losses in a Distribution Center according to Walmart Performance System (WPS) programs. Delivers expected functional area results through Key Performance Indicator (KPI) analysis and loss elimination by creating standard work to reduce process variation. Assists with the review and response of process improvement projects owned by area managers, applies new network One Best Way playbooks, and provides input to Divisional Focused Improvement Teams on project ideation and replication opportunities. Leads savings projects within area of responsibility, promotes and supports company policies, initiatives, procedures, mission values and standards of ethics and integrity. Supports area loss profile analysis and performance metrics, develops gap analysis for WPS integration, and coordinates execution of top losses in the functional area while building the capability of other area managers and associates. Provides supervision, development, hiring, training and mentoring, ensuring compliance with company policies and the Open Door Policy.

Responsibilities

Lead process improvement projects using 5S, root cause analysis, Six Sigma, and time & motion studies.

Deliver functional area KPIs and reduce process variation through standard work.

Support project execution of top loss items and build capability of area managers.

Coordinate WPS program implementation and provide performance metrics.

Provide supervision, coaching, and mentoring of associates.

Ensure compliance with company policies, ethics, and the Open Door Policy.

Promote a culture of belonging, continuous learning, and high performance.

Minimum Qualifications

Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering or related field.

3+ years of experience in Process Improvement.

Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and analytical skills.

Knowledge of Process or Value Stream Simulation.

Demonstrated project ownership with sustainable long‑term savings.

Preferred Qualifications

Experience in a Total Performance Management (TPM) or related environment.

Six Sigma certification.

Experience applying Walmart Performance System (WPS) tools.
