We’re looking for
Intermediate Solar Installers
to join our growing team.
On site from Greater Chicagoland – 60‑mile radius around Chicago, IL (office).
Key Responsibilities
Work collaboratively to install and seal roof attachments, racking supports, rooftop electronics, and solar panels.
Perform quality checks to ensure installations meet manufacturer and project standards.
Review installation plans with Crew Leads and follow team guidance.
Troubleshoot and resolve minor installation issues.
Mentor and guide entry‑level installers in techniques and safety practices.
Maintain and clean up job sites, tools, vehicles, and materials.
Work safely with mechanical and electrical team members while maintaining productivity.
Follow all OSHA and Fresh Coast Solar safety regulations.
Perform additional tasks as assigned.
Requirements
1–3 years of residential solar or electrical installation experience.
Familiarity with solar racking, inverters, and wiring.
Ability to read technical drawings and installation manuals.
Comfortable working at heights on both flat and pitched roofs.
High school diploma or trade school degree in construction or building sciences.
Strong communication and customer service skills.
Valid driver’s license with clean driving record.
Ability to lift up to 50 lbs, use harnesses, and climb ladders.
Compensation & Benefits
Pay: $25–$35/hour (based on experience) + performance‑based bonuses
Location: Various sites within the Chicagoland area
Schedule: Monday‑Friday, 7 AM‑3:30 PM,
