The University of Nevada, Las Vegas (UNLV) invites applications for a full‑time Pediatric Neurologist to join the Department of Pediatrics at the Kirk Kerkorian School of Medicine. The position is at the rank of Assistant/Associate Professor and is non‑tenure track.
Role of the Position The successful candidate will demonstrate solid clinical, teaching, and leadership skills, possess excellent interpersonal skills, be team‑oriented, and embrace educational innovation. The role will be centered around primary and subspecialty care in a clinical setting, providing outpatient care at the UNLV Health Faculty Practice clinic(s) and treating patients at area hospitals including Sunrise/Children’s Hospital and UMC/Children’s Hospital.
Additional administrative responsibilities may include participation on hospital, departmental, and university committees, and pediatric outreach activities/advocacy.
Minimum Qualifications
MD or DO degree from a regionally accredited institution
Board Certified in Pediatrics prior to start date
Eligible for an unrestricted Nevada medical license
Malpractice insurance and ability to be credentialed by affiliated teaching hospitals
