The Department of Electrical & Computer Engineering (ECE) in the Herbert Wertheim College of Engineering (HWCOE) at the University of Florida (UF) invites applications for multiple full‑time, nine‑month tenure‑track faculty positions at the rank of Assistant, Associate, and Full Professor. The positions have an anticipated start date of August 2026. We are seeking candidates in all areas related to Electrical & Computer Engineering. Special interest is given to candidates with backgrounds in Quantum Computing/Communications/Networking/Signal Processing, Advanced Packaging, Artificial Intelligence, RF Electronics, and MEMS. Responsibilities

Teach undergraduate and graduate courses within the electrical & computer engineering curricula. Initiate and sustain externally sponsored research programs. Recruit and supervise graduate students. Engage in service activities for the University and the profession. Qualifications

Required:

Ph.D. in a related field by the start date. Preferred: Dedication to excellence in research, teaching, and service, and evidence of scholarly achievements. Record of successful proposal writing, Ph.D. student mentoring, scholarship, and classroom teaching. Salary
