Lead Superintendent – Hospital and Healthcare Construction
Location: Fort Lauderdale, FL.
Base pay range $140,000.00 / yr – $160,000.00 / yr
Description
Lead all on-site construction activities from project kickoff through closeout for hospital and healthcare facilities.
Coordinate and manage subcontractors, vendors, inspections, and safety programs.
Ensure compliance with hospital protocols, infection control requirements (ICRA), and AHCA standards.
Maintain detailed project schedules, progress reports, and daily logs.
Work closely with the Project Manager to maintain budgets, control costs, and ensure quality standards are met.
Drive a culture of safety, communication, and accountability on the job site.
Serve as the main point of contact for owners, architects, and healthcare staff during construction.
Profile
Minimum 10+ years of field experience, with at least 5 years supervising healthcare or hospital projects.
Strong knowledge of AHCA regulations, infection control, and medical construction procedures.
Proven ability to lead large field teams on ground‑up and renovation healthcare projects.
Excellent communication, leadership, and problem‑solving skills.
OSHA 30 and First Aid/CPR certifications preferred.
Ability to maintain professionalism and efficiency in active hospital environments.
