Blue Chip Talent, in partnership with an automotive engineering organization, is seeking a skilled HVAC Design Engineer. This role is responsible for designing HVAC components and modules, performing thermal simulations, and collaborating with global engineering teams throughout the product lifecycle.
Job Duties
Design HVAC modules and components, including evaporators, heaters, blowers, ducts, and control systems
Develop and revise 3D models and 2D drawings using CATIA or NX
Perform thermal and airflow simulations using CFD and 1D tools to optimize performance
Support prototype builds and coordinate testing and validation activities
Analyze test data, perform root cause analysis, and implement design corrections
Interface with internal teams and OEM customers to gather requirements and present solutions
Ensure documentation compliance with industry and customer‑specific standards
Align design and validation activities with global engineering partners
Skills & Experience Required
Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, Automotive Engineering, or related field
3–5 years of HVAC design experience in the automotive industry
Proficiency with CAD software such as CATIA or NX
Knowledge of HVAC systems, refrigerant circuits, and airflow management
Experience with validation testing and DFMEA documentation
Familiarity with SAE and ISO standards
Experience collaborating with global engineering teams
Exposure to Lean and Six Sigma methodologies
Experience with simulation tools for thermal and airflow analysis
