About The We’re seeking a technical leader to spearhead our enterprise integration strategy. You’ll be our “technical diplomat” – working directly with enterprise merchants to solve complex payment integration challenges while building the frameworks and processes that will scale our solutions team. This role combines hands‑on technical work, strategic product thinking, and extensive client‑facing engagement.
What You’ll Do
Lead complex enterprise integrations from discovery through go‑live (3‑12 month projects)
Conduct on‑site technical discovery with enterprise payment teams, analyzing existing infrastructure and compliance requirements
Design and prototype custom React/TypeScript widgets and SDK components for complex payment flows
Build integration frameworks and processes – you’ll create the playbooks future team members will follow
Educate enterprise stakeholders on payment system complexities, compliance requirements, and technical feasibility
Support strategic sales efforts with technical feasibility assessments, demos, and effort estimates
Document solutions and patterns that can be reused across similar enterprise implementations
What You’ll Need
4+ years combining product management and software engineering – you’ve worn both hats successfully with an emphasis on engineering
Strong TypeScript/React skills with experience building SDKs, widgets, or embeddable components
Payment systems knowledge and comfort navigating complex financial/compliance domains
Enterprise consulting experience – you can work effectively with IT teams, payment processors, and business stakeholders
Process‑building mindset – you thrive in ambiguous environments and enjoy creating order from complexity
Strong communication skills for both technical implementation details and strategic business discussions
Travel flexibility for on‑site client engagements
Growth Opportunity As Accrue scales, you’ll have the opportunity to build and lead the solutions engineering function, leveraging the frameworks and processes you create in this foundational role.
Success Metrics Success is measured primarily by enterprise merchant business outcomes and successful go‑lives, with speed of implementation being important but secondary to achieving strong business results.

Salary Information The range listed below is just one component of Accrue’s total compensation package; this role will receive a competitive salary + benefits + equity. The salary range is for US‑based employees located in the listed market. Other benefits include those listed above such as healthcare and 401k with 3% contribution.

$180,000 - $220,000 USD
