Network Infrastructure Transactions/Telecom Associate (Mid - Senior Level)
Greenberg Traurig is seeking a mid- to senior-level associate (5–7 years of experience) to join our growing telecommunications practice. Our team advises leading domestic and international clients operating across the digital infrastructure ecosystem on a range of commercial, regulatory, and transactional matters. This is a location flexible position open to multiple office locations, primarily based in our DC office.
Responsibilities
Drafting and negotiating commercial infrastructure agreements—including terrestrial, subsea connectivity, and space-based services agreements.
Advising clients on licensing for next-generation satellite and spectrum initiatives or other telecommunications services.
Providing regulatory guidance on complex telecommunications, wireless, space, and submarine cable matters.
Conducting due diligence and structuring commercial arrangements that bridge technology and policy.
Qualifications The ideal candidate will have significant commercial contracting and transactional experience, ideally within the telecommunications, digital infrastructure, or technology sectors, and strong commercial drafting and negotiation skills, with the ability to manage sophisticated agreements. Experience or familiarity with telecommunications regulatory frameworks and related due diligence is a plus.
Compensation and Benefits Washington D.C.:
$325,000-$435,000 per year Los Angeles:
$280,000-$375,000 New York City:
$240,000-$440,000 Sacramento:
$285,000-$325,000 San Diego:
$240,000-$385,000 Actual pay will be adjusted based on experience, location, and other job-related factors permissible by law. Full‑time employees may be eligible for a discretionary bonus, health insurance with an optional HSA, short‑term disability, long‑term disability, dental insurance, vision care, life insurance, healthcare and dependent care flexible spending accounts, 401(k), vacation, sick time, and an employee assistance program.
