Jobs via Dice . Our client, IT Associates, Inc., is seeking a dedicated technician to provide on‑site support for ongoing Windows upgrades.
Location Eden Prairie, MN Contract: 6+ months with possible hire On‑site: 5 days per week
Day to Day Responsibilities
Provide on‑site support for Windows 11 upgrade, imaging systems, and user setup.
Answer on‑the‑spot inquiries from users.
Provide general training for applications and hardware.
Maintain ticket SLA and drive first call resolution.
Support Windows 11 upgrades via SCCM or Intune.
Assist users with pre‑upgrade readiness checks (hardware compatibility, backups, etc.).
Test new desktop images/packages when delivered.
Troubleshoot networking, connectivity, antivirus, and peripheral issues.
Manage phones, network, and switch port support for desktops.
Requirement & Qualifications
Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or equivalent experience.
Experience with Windows 10/11, SCCM, Intune, and VDI technologies (Citrix, VMware, Azure Virtual Desktop).
Desktop support experience with Windows and Apple Mac systems.
Proficient in OS troubleshooting and desktop maintenance.
Strong written and verbal communication, time‑management, multitasking, problem‑solving and interpersonal skills.
Hourly rate: $25.00–$27.00 during the contract period. Benefits available after a waiting period.
