Consultant (11 months, Home-based, Remote): Partnership Consultant, Division of Private Fundraising and Partnerships (PFP)
UNICEF CHAD seeks a remote Partnership Consultant to strengthen engagement with faith‑based and membership organisations, leveraging integrated offerings, advocacy, and social behaviour change resources. The role supports UNICEF’s strategic objectives through partnership, resource adaptation, and thought leadership within the faith sector.
Key Responsibilities
Develop and implement faith‑led advocacy and fundraising activations, including the moral case for aid.
Coordinate and deliver a faith‑specific engagement plan aligned with Global Advocacy colleagues.
Adapt and peer‑review existing Social Behaviour Change (SBC) toolkits for faith and membership partners.
Plan, organise, and facilitate
two online and one in‑person Faith Leadership Circle events , including agenda development, content preparation, logistics, and post‑event follow‑up.
Create a comprehensive toolkit signposting existing advocacy and SBC assets, and prepare a guidance note for fundraising colleagues on leveraging these assets in funding proposals.
Submit monthly progress updates to the supervisor and deliver all outputs in accordance with the agreed timeline and quality standards.
Qualifications
Advanced university degree (Master’s or higher) in international development, theology, fundraising, or related fields; alternatively, a Bachelor’s degree plus two additional years of professional experience may be accepted.
Minimum six (6) years of relevant professional experience in partnerships, communications or advocacy, including experience working with faith‑based organisations and partnership development.
Demonstrated experience in advocacy or SBC, event planning, and excellent communication and organisational skills.
Fluency in English required; knowledge of an additional official UN language (Arabic, Chinese, French, Russian or Spanish) is an asset.
Employment Details
Contract type: Consultant (short‑term assignment)
Duty Station: Remote (home‑based); occasional international travel may be required, covered separately by UNICEF.
Location: Geneva, Switzerland (remote work)
