Data Analyst
to join our
Global Supply Chain
team for a
3-month contract engagement .
This contract role has the potential to transition into a permanent position upon successful mutual fit and the availability of an approved headcount.
In this pivotal role, you will combine your
supply chain and procurement planning experience
with advanced data visualization and analytics expertise to ensure the timely coordination and fulfillment of critical surgical instrument and implant sets.
While experience in the
Medical Device / ISO 13485
sector is ideal, we strongly encourage applicants from other
GMP-regulated industries
who have a proven track record in supporting regulated production.
About the Role As a Data Analyst, you will be essential to our production ecosystem. You will coordinate all planning and production activities associated with our surgical sets, driving efficiency and on‑time completion or decommissioning. Your advanced analytical skills using tools like
Power BI, SQL, Power Query, and VBA
will be crucial for calculating future set needs, optimizing workflows, and enabling data‑driven decisions across Marketing, Finance, Supply Chain, Quality, and Operations.
Key Responsibilities Set Planning and Coordination
Manage material availability
and coordinate build activities with cross‑functional departments (Operations, Quality, Marketing).
Prioritize set builds
to meet target timelines and ensure timely receipt, inspection, and completion/decommissioning of inventory.
Escalate shortages
and pushouts impacting build timelines and communicate clear updates to stakeholders, including Marketing and Sales.
Provide input to Marketing and Operations for the breakdown of low‑usage or obsolete sets.
Data Analytics and Reporting
Design, develop, and maintain dynamic dashboards and reporting tools
using
Power BI, Power Query, and Advanced Excel (VBA)
to track set build progress, inventory status, and material flow.
Write and optimize SQL queries
to extract and manipulate large datasets from systems like Oracle and Cognos.
Leverage
Power Automate and VBA scripting
to streamline manual workflows and significantly improve process efficiency.
Support
forecasting and planning activities
through data analysis, visualization, and predictive modeling.
Partner cross‑functionally to identify and implement
data‑driven opportunities
that improve visibility and enhance decision‑making.
What You Bring Minimum Qualifications
2+ years of experience
in
Data Analytics , preferably within a
regulated manufacturing
or
medical device
environment, with experience in
supply chain and procurement planning .
Strong proficiency with Microsoft Office, particularly Advanced Excel
(demonstrating ability with complex functions, data modeling, and data visualization).
Demonstrated ability to manage competing priorities, meet deadlines, and adapt quickly in a fast‑paced environment.
Strong analytical and critical‑thinking skills
with
high attention to detail .
Effective written and verbal communication skills across all levels and with external stakeholders.
Preferred Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in Business, Supply Chain, Data Analytics, or a related field.
Advanced technical skills
in
SQL, Power BI (DAX), and Power Automate .
Experience with
Oracle R12 ERP
and
Cognos Analytics (v11) .
Advanced Excel expertise with
macros (VBA)
and
Power Query (M) .
Proven experience using data analytics to support planning, forecasting, and performance measurement.
Familiarity with supply and demand planning methodologies.
