Geotechnical Project Manager

The role is primarily focused on preparing and reviewing geotechnical reports, managing construction materials testing (CMT) projects, and leading technical discussions with clients. Key responsibilities include:
Preparation of geotechnical reports, including analysis and recommendations, with a strong commitment to meeting project deadlines.
Management of construction materials testing (CMT) projects: daily report review, issue resolution, and training of field staff.
Preparation of geotechnical and CMT proposals, project budget management, and preparation of change orders and invoices.
Hosting or attending project meetings with clients to review delivered reports and provide technical solutions as necessary.
Additional duties (with supervision): preparing drilling packages and obtaining utility clearances, researching local geologic history, supervising drilling/test pit crews, classifying soil and assigning laboratory testing, and mentoring and supporting Staff Project Managers, Assistant Staff Project Managers, and technicians.
Qualifications:
Bachelor's and/or Master's of Science in Civil Engineering, Geological Engineering, Geology, or a related field.
Minimum of 3 years of related experience.
Professional Engineer (P.E.) or Professional Geologist (P.G.) preferred.
Professional license required in each state(s) where the work will be performed. If a professional license has not yet been obtained, the title will be "Manager".
Valid driver’s license required if driving for or on behalf of any ECS subsidiary.
