This is an exciting opportunity for a driven attorney with strong transactional experience to work with developers, investors, and institutional lenders across a wide spectrum of real estate matters. You will play a key role in guiding clients through high‑value transactions, complex negotiations, and development projects.
What You'll Do
Acquisitions, dispositions, and financing of commercial properties
Common and preferred equity investments and joint ventures
Commercial leasing and development projects
Zoning, entitlement, and land‑use matters
Counsel developers and investors on structuring, governance, and compliance
Represent lenders in real property‑secured financings
Draft, review, and negotiate contracts and transaction documents
Advise clients on zoning appeals, property tax assessments, and workforce housing agreements
What We're Looking For
Juris Doctor (JD) from an accredited law school
Admitted or eligible for admission to the South Carolina Bar
5+ years of experience in commercial real estate law
Strong expertise in real estate finance, zoning, land use, and entitlement
Proven success representing developers, lenders, and institutional clients
Excellent drafting, negotiation, and client management skills
