BayCare is seeking a Compensation Analyst to join our dynamic Total Rewards team. In this role, you will analyze compensation data to ensure market competitiveness and compliance with regulatory standards. You will play a key part in developing salary structures, evaluating jobs, and supporting compensation strategies that align with BayCare’s mission and values.
What You’ll Do In The Role
Analyze market data and perform salary benchmarking to maintain competitive pay practices.
Participate in salary surveys and interpret survey results for compensation planning.
Develop and maintain salary structures and tables for HRIS system builds.
Prepare and update job descriptions; evaluate jobs using established processes to determine pay grade, salary range, and exemption status.
Maintain accurate records of job evaluations and compensation data.
Assist in developing BayCare’s compensation philosophies, policies, and practices.
Partner with Total Rewards team and leadership to address compensation-related questions and issues.
Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local compensation laws and regulations.
Perform calculations for various compensation elements under the direction of senior team members.
Prepare reports and presentations on compensation analysis and recommendations.
Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business, Finance, or related field.
Minimum 1 year of experience in compensation analysis, HR, or related roles.
Strong analytical and problem‑solving skills.
Proficiency in Excel and HRIS systems.
Knowledge of compensation laws and regulations.
Excellent communication and presentation skills.
Experience with analytical and reporting tools.
Location: Clearwater, FL | Hybrid (3 days onsite per week)
Status: Full-time | Exempt
Schedule: Monday–Friday, 8:30 AM – 5:00 PM
Weekend Work: None
