Full Stack Software Engineer III Our Technology Team partners with Expedia Group to create innovative products. We build scalable B2B partnership platforms using JavaScript, TypeScript, React, Kotlin, GraphQL, and REST APIs.
In This Role, You Will
Lead complex projects and contribute to system-level architecture.
Mentor junior engineers through code reviews and pair programming.
Develop and test software using full-stack technologies.
Design scalable, observable, testable systems.
Create reusable React components and design scalable data schemas.
Identify inefficiencies and propose improvements.
Collaborate across teams to understand dependencies.
Apply deep knowledge of software design principles.
Understand how team goals align with broader business needs.
Contribute to a community of practice and share new technical skills.
Minimum Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in CS or related field (5+ years experience) or Master’s degree (3+ years experience) or equivalent.
Experience developing software in at least 3 languages.
Maintained at least 4 production software projects.
Strong proficiency in JavaScript, TypeScript, React, Kotlin, GraphQL, REST APIs.
Experience designing moderately complex systems.
Familiarity with cloud platforms and microservices.
Excellent debugging, testing, monitoring skills.
Strong communication and collaboration abilities.
Preferred Qualifications
Experience leading end-to-end projects and mentoring junior engineers.
Holistic thinking across structure, people, process, technology.
Background in travel or mobility platforms is a plus.
Pay Range Details Seattle: $137,500.00 - $192,500.00 (potential to increase up to $220,000.00 with performance).
San Jose: $149,000.00 - $208,500.00 (potential to increase up to $238,500.00 with performance).
