Responsibilities
Formulate and define scope and objectives for the product deliverables with thorough understanding of business processes in a specific business domain.
Work with stakeholders and SMEs to analyse, define, and prioritise the business requirements, functional specifications.
Serve as Blockchain, DLT solutions expert to build digital asset servicing capabilities in partnership with business teams and technology, including designing and delivering pilots.
Design and build future state business architecture to support new and existing Blockchain, DLT use cases.
Evaluate different Blockchain protocols / platforms to explore solution alternatives and serve as a trusted advisor to deliver blockchain‑based solutions.
Provide guidance on blockchain, DLT capabilities – available internally or in the marketplace – to determine best path forward factoring in feasibility, maturity of solutions, cost, time to market etc.
Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in computer science or related discipline, or equivalent work experience.
Demonstrated deep technical understanding of leading blockchain protocols, strengths and gaps.
5+ years of experience working in one or more of the following areas – structured finance, securitisation, payments, collateral.
5+ years of experience developing products in blockchain/DLT and related technologies with strong understanding of token standards and benefits of tokenisation.
Proven experience in product design and development with deep technical aptitude in developing new products.
Experience working with multi‑disciplinary teams comprising product managers, designers, and engineers.
BNY offers highly competitive compensation, benefits, and wellbeing programs rooted in a strong culture of excellence. The base salary for this position is expected to be between $68,000 and $160,000 per year at the commencement of employment, and may include commission earnings, discretionary bonuses, short and long‑term incentive packages, and Company‑sponsored benefit programs.
