Base pay range $14.00/hr - $16.00/hr
Job Summary We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented individual to join our team as a Night Audit for Salem Hotel, which is managed by VP Management. As a member of our hospitality and restaurant industry, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth operations of the hotel during the overnight hours. This individual contributor role offers a competitive salary and benefits package and is located in Salem Virginia.

Responsibilities
Conduct night audit procedures to balance and reconcile daily financial transactions
Process and post guest charges, payments, and adjustments accurately and efficiently
Prepare daily reports and distribute to appropriate hotel departments and management
Maintain accurate records of cash, credit, and debit transactions during shift
Respond to and resolve guest inquiries and concerns in a timely and professional manner
Collaborate with other hotel departments to ensure guest satisfaction and hotel standards are met
Follow all safety and security procedures and report any potential hazards or incidents
Assist with other front desk duties and projects as needed
Preferences
High school diploma or equivalent; college degree in hospitality or related field preferred
1-2 years of experience in hotel front office or accounting position
Proficient in Microsoft Office and property management systems (PMS)
Strong communication and customer service skills
Ability to work independently and handle multiple tasks with attention to detail
Flexibility to work overnight shifts and weekends as needed
Must be able to lift up to 25 pounds and stand/walk for extended periods of time
Knowledge of hotel policies, procedures, and regulations is a plus
