Role Description This is a full-time on-site role for a Substance Abuse Counselor, located in Charlotte, NC. The Substance Abuse Counselor will be responsible for developing treatment plans, managing cases, and providing counseling to individuals with chemical dependency and mental health disorders. The Counselor will also assist in relapse prevention and support patients on their path to recovery through various therapeutic techniques.
Qualifications
Treatment Planning and Case Management skills
Experience in Chemical Dependency and Relapse Prevention
Knowledge of Mental Health disorders and treatments
Strong interpersonal and communication skills
Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment
Master's degree in Counseling, Psychology, Social Work, or related field preferred
Licensed or certified as a Substance Abuse Counselor is a plus
Experience working in a behavioral health setting is beneficial
